Why You’ll Love These Valentine’s Reese’s S’mores Hearts

  • They combine so many flavors in one
  • They’re sure to win over your Valentine!
  • They’re gluten free, easily dairy free, and completely refined sugar free since I use my homemade marshmallow fluff!

I used THESE heart moles

They’re so worth the few bucks, whether you make these, my heart twix bars, or my heart reeses!

Ingredients

  • Coating
  • 3/4 cup Dark Chocolate
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • Peanut Butter Filling
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil Melted
  • Remaining ingredients
  • 1/3 cup gluten free graham crackers I used Simple Mills Sweet Thins
  • 1 batch Homemade Marshmallow Fluff
    • sweetened with honey to keep it refined sugar free! My favorite store bought brand is toonie moonies. They make organic marshmallow creme. Cane sugar is a GMO crop that’s highly sprayed with pesticides, so when I do use cane sugar I always opt for organic to avoid the GMOs and pesticides!

Process

  • Melt chocolate and pour in the bottom of heart mold, then freeze for a few minutes
  • Mix peanut butter filling ingredients together until smooth, fold in crushed graham crackers
  • Press into the chocolate coated hearts
  • Spray a spoon with non stick spray, then add marshmallow fluff as the next layer, press down to even out
  • Top with remaining melted chocolate, and place in the fridge for 30 minutes
  • Remove from molds and enjoy!
  • Store in fridge or freezer

I love how easy these are to make, and how much flavor and texture you get in every bite!

Variations for Dietary Preferences

  • Marshmallow Fluff- homemade is not hard and it’s so fun!! But you can use store bought also. Toonie Moonie makes an organic marshmallow fluff with better ingredients than the main stream brand
  • Graham crackers – use any brand you’d like, or leave them out.
  • Protein powder – you can leave it out and leave out the coconut oil also
