Variations for Dietary Preferences
- Honey– You can replace with pure maple syrup or medjool date syrup
- Peanut butter – can replace with almond butter, cashew butter, sunbutter, or vanilla oat butter.
- Vanilla protein powder – feel free to omit. I use a high quality 100% grass fed whey from Just Ingredients, which has no gums, additives, or artificial ingredients. I feel comfortable allowing my kids to enjoy it. You can save sitewide off the cleanest protein powders with code colleenF10
- Flaxseed– can sub chia seeds or hemp hearts, all of which add a nutritional boost, or you can omit them all together
- Cashew Butter – adds creaminess to the popsicles, but can be subbed for another nut butter, sunbutter, or coconut cream

Notes
Can omit the flaxseed or cashew butter (just adds to the creaminess) can use pure maple syrup in place of honey can use dairy free protein if needed, just note it won’t be as high in protein.
I used to feel sluggish and tired all the time, and it turned out to be low vitamin D.
