Thick, creamy, dairy free blizzard style shake, made with simple and nourishing ingredients, a boost of protein, and with some of my gluten free cinnamon roll cupcakes on top for the ultimate treat!

I used my favorite clean ingredient protein powder from Just Ingredients in Snickerdoodle flavor here (vanilla will also work) you can use code colleenF10 to save sitewide on just ingredients protein powders

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Banana, Frozen
  • 1 cup Cauliflower Rice, Frozen
  • 1/4 cup Protein Powder, Snickerdoodle – Just Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
  • 1/3 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1 whole Cinnamon Roll Cupcake (click for recipe)

Process

  1. Blend or process all ingredients together
  2. Pour into mini silicone muffin tray / ice cube tray and freeze for 2-3 hours (can skip this step if you’re ok with more of milkshake thickness, but if you want blizzard style and to pass the flip test this step adds thickness)
  3. Once frozen solid, place frozen cubes into blender/processor with a splash of milk and blend until smooth, scraping the sides down as needed. May need a few splashes of milk, but don’t overdo it or you’ll thin it out
  4. Pour into a glass, top with a crumbled cinnamon roll cupcake and enjoy!

Notes

Can use vanilla protein and up the cinnamon to 1 full teaspoon
