Boost your kiddos nutrition without sacrificing the fun snacks we grew up loving! These fruit and veggie fruit snacks are easy, only take 3 ingredients, and no you can NOT taste any veggies.
You can find the gelatin and gummy molds I used HERE.

Why You’ll Love These Homemade Fruit Snakcs
- They’re made with nourishing ingredients
- The grass-fed beef gelatin is great for you gut lining, hair, skin, and nails
- They’re bite sized, and are easy to grab and go when you want a sweet treat after or with lunch
- The kids love them, and as parents we love that they’re nourishing their bodies with nutrient dense foods
- It’s arguably the most fun way to eat your vegetables! Maybe equally as fun as my homemade Fruit & Veggie Freeze Pops!
Key Ingredients
- Grass-fed beef gelatin– not to confused with Knox gelatin packets, high quality beef gelatin is full of nutrients that are good for our guts, hair, skin, and nails! Fun fact- i made it a point to eat homemade gummies everyday while I was pregnant to help prevent stretch marks, and yes, it worked! The gelatin is what gives gummies their squishy texture
- Strawberries / Mango / Blueberries / Apple – using real fruit enhances the flavor of the gummies versus using just juice alone
- Juice – liquid is needed to dissolve the gelatin into. You can use other juices than the ones listed, but I found personally that these juices added the perfect flavors to each
- Honey – completely optional. My kids do not require the added sweetness to our homemade gummies, but if you’re expecting Welch’s fruit snacks, the homemade version without added sweeteners will be an adjustment

Notes
Each flavor makes maybe 4 tray fulls. I recommend doing 1 flavor at a time to see how much you want to have on hand at once. Do not use pineapple or kiwi, as they won’t gelatinize because of a compound they have called bromemine. can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
