Well worth it, because you can make my Heart Twix Bars and my Reese’s S’mores Hearts next!!

Process

  • Combine your peanut butter, syrup, coconut oil (melted), and protein powder together until smooth
  • Pour into heart molds* and freeze until hard
  • Melt chocolate with an additional 1-2 tsp coconut oil, then dip your pb hearts into the chocolate, then onto a wire rack or parchment paper to harden
  • Optional to drizzle with melted white chocolate and/or natural sprinkles!
  • If making hearts without a mold omit the 1tbsp coconut oil so the peanut butter is more dough like and easy to mold with your hands

I love how easy it to just mix the filling ingredients, freeze, and dip in your favorite chocolate!

Variations for Dietary Preferences

  • Peanut butter – feel free to try with almond butter or your favorite nut butter
  • Maple syrup – sub sugar free syrup or date syrup
  • Coconut oil – if your peanut butter is really runny you can leave it out
