Strawberry + Mango Star Gummies

Naturally colored & naturally sweetened homemade gummies!

In strawberry and orange mango with a pinch of blue spirulina for a festive and healthy 4th of July treat! Find the star molds I used HERE.

Serves: 20

Ingredients

Strawberry flavor

  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Raspberry Juice, See notes
  • 1/4 cup Grass-Fed Gelatin
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup, Optional

Orange mango (blue)

  • 1 cup Mango
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 cup Grass-Fed Gelatin
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp Honey, Optional
  • 1 tsp Spirulina Powder, Blue

Process

  1. For each flavor:
  2. Process/blend fruit until smooth and place on low heat on stovetop
  3. In a small bowl whisk together juice and gelatin and allow to sit and thicken into a gelatin bloom (3-4minutes)
  4. Add to warm fruit on stove top and whisk until dissolved
  5. For the orange / mango whisk your blue spirulina until desired color is achieved
  6. Pour into gummy molds and refrigerate for 1 hour +
  7. Enjoy!
  8. Remove and place in an airtight container and store in the fridge

Notes

Can use strawberry, raspberry, or watermelon juice to keep it red. Apple juice will work too, it’s just not as flavorful
