Healthier Nutter Butters

Ingredients

Cookie

  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder Or peanut butter flavor protein powder
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

For filling

  • 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

Instructions

  • Combine your dough ingredients together
  • Roll into balls
  • Place two balls together so that they're touching
  • Use a fork to press down on the balls
  • Refrigerate for 15 minutes (to help keep from over puffing / spreading when baking)
  • Bake at 350 for 10-11 min
  • Allow to cool on baking sheet 5 min, then transfer to cooling rack
  • Once cool stuff with your pb mixture and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to omit the peanut butter shape and make peanut butter stuffed cookies instead! This made 28 balls of dough / 14 peanut shaped cookies, thus after stuffing 7 nutter butter cookies total.
