Homemade Sprinkles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Powdered Monkfruit Sweetener **
  • 1 whole Egg Whites 2 tbsp worth*
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp Water
  • 1 pinch Spirulina Powder Blue
  • 1 pinch Freeze-Dried Raspberries Ground into powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  • Whisk powdered sugar, egg white, and vanilla together
  • Add 1-2 tbsp water until a paste is formed. Can add more a tsp at a time if need be
  • Separate into 3 small bowls
  • Add each colorant to each bowl- blue spirulina, freeze dried raspberry powder, and turmeric
  • Place colored pasta into piping bag or ziplock bag with a tiny hole poked in the corner
  • Line onto wax paper or parchment paper into long singular lines
  • Allow to dry for 24 hours. They should feel like uncooked spaghetti when dry
  • Use a knife to cut into pieces or simple break apart with your fingers
  • Store in an airtight container

Notes

I found 1 large egg white was equivalent to 2 tbsp. Can use carton egg whites as well *can use organic powdered sugar in place of powdered monkfruit *can color with whatever you wish, even natural dyes. The color will fade slightly as they dry so add enough to make a deep hue for the paste.
