Strawberry Protein Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/2 cup Oat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder Or more oat flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Freeze-Dried Strawberries Processed into powder
  • 1 whole Banana Medium
  • 2 whole Egg
  • 1/3 cup Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Frosting

  • 1/4 cup Coconut Cream
  • 2 Tbsp Freeze-Dried Strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp Almond Milk

Instructions

  • Whisk mashed banana, eggs, milk, syrup, and vanilla together
  • Fold in dry ingredients
  • Place batter in piping bag (optional for cleaner pouring) and pour into 2 greased donut pans, 3/4 way full
  • Bake at 350 for 10-12 min
  • Allow to cool for 5 min, then remove onto a wire cooling rack
  • Process frosting ingredients together until creamy. Add more milk for looser consistency
  • Top with more crushed dried strawberries and enjoy!

Notes

Donuts with frosting are good for 1-2 days. Store unfrosted donuts in an airtight container, and placing frosting in an airtight container as well, and dip donuts prior to eating, and they're good for up to a week in the fridge
