Healthier Shirley Temple

No artificial colors, corn syrup, or sugary sodas needed! This homemade Shirley temple drink is made with homemade Grenadine, prebiotic sparkling drink, and no sugar added orange juice. It’s easy, zesty, and so refreshing!

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Lemon Lime Prebiotic Soda – Olipop
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 cup Honey, Or cane sugar, or granular monkfruit
  • 1 Tbsp Orange Blossom Water

Process

  1. Make homemade grenadine
  2. Add 1 cup pure pomegranate juice + 1 cup granular monkfruit (or honey or organic cane sugar) to stove over medium heat. Bring to low boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally
  3. Pour into storage glass and refrigerate (will last several months in the fridge)
  4. Pour chilled & now thickened grenadine over ice, and layer with prebiotic “soda”
  5. Top with a splash of organic orange juice, stir to ombré beauty, and enjoy!

Notes

There’s plenty of cleaner brands of sparkling beverages. We love Olipop and Poppi brands. Lemon lime or ginger ale flavors will work!
