FAQ

Can I use frozen berries?

Yes! Frozen berries work perfectly. Let them thaw slightly before mixing so the filling thickens evenly.

Can I make these dairy‑free?

Absolutely—swap the butter for your favorite vegan butter. The texture stays the same.

Can I use a different sweetener?

Maple syrup gives the best flavor and moisture, but honey can work in a pinch. Granulated sweeteners won’t provide the same texture.

How do I store the bars?

Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. They slice best when chilled and can be enjoyed cold or warmed slightly.

Can I freeze them?

Yes! Freeze sliced bars for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight.

What size pan works best?

A 9×9 pan gives the perfect thickness and even baking.
